80 M St. Vertical Expansion

Hardesty Concrete is proud to be a part of the first of its kind Mass Timber Framed building in DC. The concrete topping slabs were placed on CLT (Cross Laminated Timber) floors supported by Glulam columns and beams, allowing the natural feel of the wood to be a part of finished product. Below the addition, multiple columns were strengthened and enhanced as well as a slab on metal deck on the 8th floor. More than 2000 cubic yards of concrete were placed on this unique project.
